The Town of Long Harbour Mount Arlington Heights provides a number of services to its residents, including safe and clean drinking water, snow clearing, weekly garbage collection, and bi-weekly recycling collection. There are two annual clean up events – one in the fall and one in the spring.

The town also has a new fire station and a volunteer fire department consisting of twenty-two volunteer fire fighters. Recreation includes a swimming hole, tennis court, as well as new softball field and playground.
