The Long Harbour Development Corporation is a not-for-profit corporation in the Town of Long Harbour Mount Arlington Heights dedicated to the task of maximizing the business development and employment opportunities associated with the construction and ongoing operations of the multi-billion dollar Vale nickel processing plant at Long Harbour Newfoundland.

LHDC’s aim is to create an “open for business” environment that encourages the recruitment, retention and growth of commercial enterprises to broaden the economic base of the community of Long Harbour Mount Arlington Heights for the benefit of all of our residents. The Corporation provides advice, information and sup­port to businesses wishing to develop, grow, expand or set-up-shop in Long Harbour.
